Admission Criteria For Ventilator Neighborhood

Admission Criteria


 Recent lab results, CBC, comprehensive metabolic, profile (should accompany the discharge information).


 No major charges in ventilate settings for the past three (3) days.


 Blood gases measurements within an acceptable range as determined by Pulmonologist.


          Tracheotomy tube (versus an endotracheal tube) in place.


 Inspired oxygen concentration that are equal to or less than 40%.


 The potential to be weaned from mechanical ventilation support, where appropriate.


 Clinical stability in the three (3) days immediately prior to admission as determined by a qualified pulmonary specialist.
